First Day of Preschool

Monday, September 10th was Nathan's first day of Preschool. His teacher she seems super sweet. I was very impressed with the class room and all the activities they had set up for the kids. Nathan is smiling at the end of his first day -so that is a good sign. He was not sad to leave me at all - he just said "Bye Mommy" a few times. Cheyenne cried because she wanted to stay with her brother. I offered to take her to the park right around the corner but that was not even good enough for her. She just did not understand why she could not stay. This ended up being a huge distraction for me...which was good because I was able to escape without crying myself. Can you believe that? I did not cry leaving him.........I did cry a few times in the weeks leading up to him going but not the day of! I wish I could say that this was a sign of improvement.....but I do not think that is the case at all. Thanks Cheyenne for doing the crying for me.
