I was not sure whether to start my series of blogs with this or end with it.
I decided to end with it -since I would not make it through the pictures of my
kids after typing this. These are pink and blue ribbons that Nathan, Cheyenne
and I tied on the trees around our home. Our community
is in mourning for this family that lives among us.
They just lost all three of their children in a tragic car accident. This is beyond
my comprehension and my heart absouletly aches for this family. I can't imagine
anything worse than this. It felt good to tie these bows and to drive around
and see all the families that have. It is an amazing sight in an amazing community.
In these types of situations, we all want to do something and so this was our way
of showing the family that we care and have them in our thoughts and prayers.
I am grateful for the opportunity to have played a small part in this. I know that God
will comfort this family and carry them (literally) through this tragedy. I also know
that they will be reunited with their children again after their journey's here are through.
How grateful I am for this knowledge! But boy it only brings a small amount of comfort
to my aching heart - I can't even imagine what these parents are going through.
It is my prayer that they will find peace and comfort through our Heavenly Fathers
bountiful grace and love.
Janell, I can't even make it to Albertson's without bawling everytime I see the bows. They are multiplying by the hour! It's nice to see the outpouring of love our community has shown to the Coble's. It makes you proud to live here.

You will be missed by all who knew you! I take comfort in the statement made by Elder Orson Whitney, Apostle: "No pain that we suffer, no trial that we experience is wasted. It ministers to the development of such qualities as patience, faith, fortitude and humility. All that we suffer and all that we endure, especially when we endure it patiently, builds up our characters, purifies our hearts, expands our souls, and make us more tender and charitable, more worthy to be called the children of God... and it is through sorrow and suffering, toil and tribulation, that we gain the education that we came here to acquire and which will make us more like our Father and Mother in heaven." Thank you Robin for being such an amazing example to me.
